The J.C. Booth Media Center is a multipurpose, multi-use facility
that incorporates both extensive computer technology and print
resources.
Internet use is available to all students as are a wide variety
of networkable CD-ROM programs.
Students
have access to SIRS(Social Issues Resources Series), Ebsco Middle
Search(magazine data base), World Book, UXL Biographies, World
Search(countries of the world data base), GCIS (Georgia Career
Information System), Search Plus (library materials search),
and Accelerated Reader. The media center is manned by a staff
of three (two full-time media specialists and a full-time para-pro).
The media center is available to students and faculty each day
from 8 A.M. until 3:45 P.M. A school-wide network available
in each classroom enables students and faculty to access the
Internet and all media center programs at any time during the
school day.
