Mission/Purpose:
The American History Club is an organization to promote good citizenship, patriotism, and an understanding of American History and current events. Monthly meetings will be held before school.

Activities:
Activities will include assisting teachers and students with the need arises, participating and organizing fund raising activities for worth while causes, and participating in relevant historic activities as well as possible Saturday field trips.

The Art Club is an organization in which students will be able to try a variety of visual media and express themselves in the visual arts. A fee to pay for materials may be charged.

Activities will include trying a variety of visual media and visual arts. Members may enter art/poster contests and display their work in the school.

The Chess Club is a group of students who have a common interest in learning and playing the game of chess.

Activities:
Activities at monthly meetings, usually scheduled before school, may include Huddles, Team Bible Studies, Chapel Program, One Way 2 Play - Drug Free! and special events.

The guitar club is an organization that gives interested musicians the opportunity to meet and share their interest in the acoustical guitar and to improve their skills.

Mission/Purpose:
The primary responsiblity of the Honor Guard is to raise and lower the flags. Other goals are to promote citizenship, leadership and school/community service. Open to all grades, the Honor Guard is lead by two co-captains.

Activities:
Honor Guard raises and lowers the flags and engage in community service projects. The members meet periodically in the morning.

International Club is open to all Booth students and seeks to foster friendship and understanding between students from different nationalities.

Mission/Purpose:
Beta Club is an academic leadership organization living by the motto, "let us lead by serving others." Invitation is based on semester averages in all subject areas of 90 or above as well as upstanding character. Members are invited twice yearly.

Activities:
Activities include fund raising, collecting non-perishable food items, toiletries, and winter clothing, acting as classroom helpers and peer tutors. Monthly meetings.

Club are as follows:
1. 90 or above average in all academic subjects for one semester
2. 90 or above average in physical education related classes
for one semester
3. 90 or above average in arts related classes for one semester
4. Good citizenship
Criteria
to maintain membership in good standing are as follows:
1. Maintain an A average with no grade lower than 85 for semester.
2. Earn a minimum of 5 Beta hours per semester.

Mission/Purpose:
The Live Animal Club members feed and care for the animals residing in the school.
Faculty Advisor:

Activities:
Students check on the health and welfare of the animals, clean and maintain cages and aquariums on a weekly basis.

Mission/Purpose:
The Nutrition Advisory Committee works to improve health and nutrition in the school. NAC is open to all students. NAC provides leadership and school service opportunities for students to have input in the many facets of health and nutrition in the middle school setting.

Activities:
Members meet periodically and work primarily with food service manager to improve the food and kitchen/cafeteria services of the school as well as promotes positive nutrition awareness.

Mission/Purpose:
The Peer Helper Program provides our students many opportunities to work together to enrich the lives of others. Students apply for membership and are selected based on interviews and the application.

Activities:
The three major facets of the program include our Ambassador Program, J.C. Booth Warrior Blazers; our Peer Tutoring Program, involving Beta Club Student; and our Peer Mediation Program which provides students with more positive methods of resolving conflict.

The purpose of the Reading club is to read books, have book talks, assign new books to read, and share in the literary experience, etc.

The reading club will meet about every other week. It is open to all grade levels.

Students with and interest in science meet periodically to learn about their areas of interests, to hear guest speakers, go on weekend field trips, socialize with other junior scientists and other activities.

Mission/Purpose:
Yearbook Club is open to al self-motivated Booth students who are interested in photography, layouts, and journalism. Students should have basic computer knowledge and be willing to work on pages before and after school on a consistent basis.

Activities:
Activities will include taking pictures, scanning photos, indexing photos, creating page layouts, and creating feature stories. Members will be required to meet before and after school on a regular basis in order to meet deadlines.
